Every school has its tales of horror and mystery… East Winds are proud to present the European Premiere of Thai teen horror ‘School Tales’.

The marching band are staying over at the school for annual camp and the members decide to “test” if some of their school’s ghostly tales and urban myths have any truth to them… with suitably ghostly and horrific results.

A series of spooky summonings, from a ghostly library apparition to a haunted mirror offer ample opportunity for scares and creative set pieces, once again drawing attention to the impressive track record in Thai cinema for pure and unabashed horror scares.

There are a number of impressive visual touches to keep proceedings fresh, with an impressive animated segment introducing the key stories that form the urban myths at the high school.

Latthgarmon Pinrojnkeerathi (Pim) is known for her involvement in a number of recent horror and thriller films in Thailand, such as ‘Grace’ and ‘Ghost Coins’, and is fast emerging as one the industry’s leading ‘scream queens’, and offers another suitable spooky performance in ‘School Tales’ to her bolster her already impressive genre resume.

For fans of traditional spooky ghost stories, ‘School Tales’ explores interesting range of issues regarding high school bullying, and needless to say the perpetrators will get a suitable grisly comeuppance.
