Do you know who is following your Facebook profile? Neither did Care (Napasasi Surawan) and Ple (Latthgarmon Pinrojnkeerathi), two high school best friends experiencing virtual fame and popularity, and nor did they care as long as their number was increasing and the likes were up.
When likes and hearts become a way to measure coolness, of validating oneself, Facebook becomes a way of living. But fame comes with a price, and its loss can trigger tragedy.
How far would you go to gain the title of Internet Idol? Grace (Apinya Sakuljaroensuk) just went further, much much further, crossing the line of sanity and humanity.
Writers Ornusa Donsawai and Pun Homchuen orchestrated a blood stained virtual symphony of clicks, likes and shares, breaking the barrier of the screen and stepping into reality.
Grace and Jack (Nutthasit Kotimanuswanich), obsessed with Care, the new emerging teen star, decide to kidnap her and Ple, who had unconsciously given them all the details they needed to plan an abduction.
The nightmare unravels. Terror, torture, pain, blood, screams and cries, sadistic smiles on beautiful lips, intertwined with flashbacks of Grace’s past, and the fantastic performance of the antagonists, are all the ingredients needed to send thrills down your spine.
You might start checking your followers list and thinking twice before making something public on the Internet after watching this film, just to avoid Grace whispering into your ear: #TheWorldAintPrettyButIAm.
